Bennett Lane Winery is the friendliest tasting room in Napa Valley. Our goal at Bennett Lane is to have our guests walk away with not only a few beautiful cabernets, but also with an education of our winemaking and the industry at large. This is not your average wine tasting.
Bennett Lane is home to over 65 wines that have been rated 90 points and above by Robert Parker, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Spectator. We focus on intimate hospitality, the perfect pairing with our wines . Whether you are a wine novice or a Master Sommelier, you will enjoy a tasting of Bennett Lane.

Randy and Lisa Lynch | Owners
Randy and Lisa Lynch came to wine through their travels in Italy, where the fruit of the vine is typically a complement to a meal-not the centerpiece. When their growing passion for fine food and wine led them to plant acreage in Napa Valley, Randy and Lisa decided to create a red wine that would easily find a place at the dinner table. Maximus, named after the wine loving, 2nd century Roman Emperor Magnus Maximus, became their initial bottling.
Prior to purchasing Bennett Lane, Randy built a successful marketing company in San Ramon, just east of San Francisco. He also has a passion for fast cars, which he raced when he was younger.
Rob Hunter | Winemaker
Rob Hunter’s professional winemaking career began at Groth Vineyards & Winery, followed by a position as winemaker at Robert Keenan Winery, Lyeth, Markham Vineyards, Sterling Vineyards and Bennett Lane Winery.
Says Rob, “My goal is to create the greatest Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. Nothing less.”

I have a passion for wine education and wine making and Bennett Lane Winery is the perfect platform, my second position as cellar staff started with the 2015 harvest. I love the laid back feel of our spot in Calistoga and I feel pride for the excellent wines that our team produces.
