As a leader in monarch conservation, the MJV supports conservation planning and implementation efforts on a broad scale by facilitating information sharing, partnership building, and carrying out identified conservation priorities throughout the monarch’s migratory range.
Napachar is a mobile biochar production service operating in the Napa and Sonoma valleys. They convert low-value wood waste, pulled vines, and forest fire-defense fuels into biochar via smoke-free, on-site flame-cap kilns. This eliminates transportation needs, lowers carbon emissions compared to open burning, and generates permanent carbon storage for local agricultural soils.
The Wine Industry Zero Waste Collective is committed to diverting wine industry-generated materials from landfills, establishing circular economies, and reducing winery waste management costs. Collaborating with other sustainability initiatives, we strive to promote recycling and create a greener future for all. While we are physically based in the Sonoma and Napa counties of California, we seek to inspire and provide resources for wine regions globally and the wine industry at large.
The Tinfoil Recycling Project is an exciting endeavor. The idea centers on the concept of recycling tin capsules from wine bottles. TRCNB supplies participating wineries with collection buckets to recycle the tin from the neck of each wine bottle. We collect the donations on a quarterly basis or earlier as needed and deliver to a local recycling business. Thank you for Helping Teachers Help Kids.
The Wild Farm Alliance is a US-based non-profit founded in 2000 that promotes “wild farming”. Operating out of Watsonville, California, it partners with farmers to restore native biodiversity, combat climate change, and improve ecosystem health while maintaining viable, productive agriculture.

The Diversity in Wine Leadership Forum brings together leaders of organizations with a core commitment to equity and diversity in the wine industry to act as a collaborative resource for support, discussion and positive change. The Forum also acts as a central resource for the wine community and its supporters to connect, support, and work with these organizations.
The Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation, founded by the Napa Valley Grapegrowers in 2011, works with the farmworker community and their trusted partners to deliver the resources, programming, and information farmworkers need to drive our community’s primary industry. Through accessible education and skill-building, they support farmworkers to become leaders in the field and the community. The Foundation reaches nearly 3,000 farmworkers annually and, since its inception, has provided education and professional development opportunities to over 33,000 vineyard workers and their families.
Puertas Abiertas Community Resource Center (Puertas Abiertas) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Napa, CA formed in 2005. Puertas Abiertas is celebrated in the Napa community as the gateway for access to health and social services, a culturally appropriate service provider to Latino families, and a collaborator with a wide variety of community partners.
The Veraison Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding equity and representation in the wine and beverage industry. Founded in 2020 by industry professionals, it supports emerging and underrepresented talent through mentorship, education scholarships, and immersive experiences.

Founded in 1975, the organization cultivates viticultural excellence and environmental stewardship by providing year-round educational seminars, community networking events (like ROOTSTOCK), and active industry advocacy.
The North Coast Soil Hub is an agricultural network spanning seven California counties (Humboldt, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Siskiyou, and Sonoma). Founded by local Resource Conservation Districts (RCDs), it provides farmers and ranchers with science-based education, one-on-one technical guidance, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities to build soil health and combat climate change.
Visit Napa Valley® is the official destination management organization for Napa County. We promote the region as an attractive travel destination and enhance its public image as a dynamic place to visit, live and work. Primary funding for our activities and programs comes from a Tourism Improvement District (TID) special assessment on lodging. Additional funding is provided through partnerships with visitor-serving businesses throughout Napa County.
