The grant headline is the splashy bit of the work that we do every day to support our growers and vintners. Don’t hesitate to reach out with other ways we can elevate local vineyards and wineries. We love working alongside you to help strengthen our industry and the greater Napa community.Β

Napa Green was awarded a $3 million Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) grant from the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD). $2 million of the grant is paid directly to local growers to implement regenerative practices such as cover cropping, compost and biochar application, no-till farming, rotational grazing, and hedgerow planting. Wineries use a lot of hot water. In fact, the hot water usage can be so high that it is usually one of the first things we recommend to wineries looking to reduce their energy consumption or reduce their emissions. While hot water is typically needed for winery cleaning and sanitation, the means to get the water hot can be varied.
