Napa Green
Napa, Calif.—For more than a decade, non-profit Napa Green has been helping growers and wineries become leaders in sustainable winegrowing through third-party certification of rigorous standards. Now Napa Green has announced its inaugural celebration, ‘Rosé & Bubbles Spring Soirée,’ hosted by LEED Platinum Certified Bardessono Hotel & Spa and Lucy Restaurant & Bar in Yountville, California. Due to the recent Public Health Emergency, the original April date has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
Vintner Hugh Davies of Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards said, “As a Napa Green Winery since 2009, we are excited to participate in the Napa Green Rosé and Bubbles Spring Soiree event. The program continues to drive the importance of sustainable practices for Napa Valley’s vineyards and wineries, and we are proud to be one of the many area wineries committed to protecting this special place we call home.”
Guests are encouraged to dress in their spring best while sipping and savoring rosé and sparkling wine from more than a dozen Napa Green wineries, along with small bites and appetizers from Lucy Restaurant. “At Bardessono, sustainable design and conscientious attention to detail enhance the guest experience. This is exactly the connection we are making with Napa Green wines – that caring for nature elevates quality and luxury,” says Anna Brittain, Napa Green Executive Director. “This will be the first of many events spotlighting the exceptional wines made at Napa Green wineries. On Sunday, the following day, we encourage guests to visit their favorite of the participating wineries in person.”
“Jessup Cellars is excited to introduce our new ‘Mon Chéri’ rosé at the celebration,” said Tracy McArdle, General Manager of Jessup Cellars and Handwritten Wines. “This will be the sixth wine in our ‘Art of the Blend’ series, a cuvée of Carignan and Grenache.”
Other wineries participating in this partnership event include Cuvaison Estate Wines, Chimney Rock, Tres Sabores, ZD Wines, St. Supéry Estate, Etude Wines, Domaine Carneros, Gamble Family Vineyards, Provenance Vineyards, Castello Di Amorosa, Rutherford Hill Winery, and Sterling Vineyards. These wineries are among 90 Napa Green Certified wineries, representing 40% of all of the certified sustainable wineries in the state of California.
Tickets are $85 per person and available on CellarPass.com. Napa Green and winery members, along with guests of Bardessono Hotel & Spa are eligible for a $20 discount code upon request.
