Napa Green Holiday Town Hall

Come connect with the team and other members and ask any questions over wine, hear about the 2025 Napa Green year in review, meeting the roundup phaseout, the One Block Challenge and what 2026 has in store.

At the end of each year we like to bring together our team, members, and community to discuss some of the highlights from the past year, and what’s ahead in the new year. Join us for a chance to connect over wine, cheese and charcuterie at Beringer’s beautiful Hudson House.

Some of you may have joined us at the end of 2023, when we discussed our ambitious goal to have all of our Napa Green members phase out the use of Roundup/glyphosate-based herbicides. Here we are just two years later and 100% of our members, 51 growers farming 92 vineyards covering nearly 6,000 acres, are all Roundup-free! We’ll share more about this achievement, and what comes next.

In addition, we have partnered with the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation to launch the One Block Challenge in our region. We hope that many of our members, along with other regional growers, will sign up to trial four stacked practices on one or more blocks, and leverage a peer-to-peer sharing and learning network. The practices are: diverse cover crop, no-till in vine rows (unless to establish cover crop), no synthetic herbicide, and one additional biodiversity enhancement (e.g., compost/compost:biochar blend; grazing; insectary rows; bird/bat boxes; hedgerow).

Please join us, bring your questions, connect with the team, and celebrate our collective leadership.
